XFactor's- Jedward

Ok ok ok, I hate them as an 'act' but as lads they seem lovely.
There's like what... 6 acts left on xfactor and shock horror they are in the bottom two... AGAIN! Alright fine, last time the public didn't want Lucie... but this time they HAVE TO GO!
Olly is an amazing singer and I'm in shock.
I know they converted alot of people, and whilst they are a very amusing and entertaining duet, this show doesn't show enough of their lives offscreen for us to judge that, the fact is, people sing,we vote, simple as. Thats how it needs to be. None of this 'but they're nice boys', I'm sure they are.... but sorry, no.
We have lost so many amazing singer, Lucie and Ricky were amongst my favourites, both lost out to Jedward.
Boys, you lived your dream. FFS, its not like the public will forget you, someone will snatch you up so quickly you wont have chance to go home!
Olly or Joe to win :)

Anime

Well its about 6:39am lol and I'm scanning the internet for a bit of retail therapy as you do at this hour....
I'm an anime fan, more so than manga (yes there's a difference, anime is something the kids can watch like pokemon, digimon, its all sweet and nice, where as manga is more brutal, theres blood, war, etc involved) but from time to time I like a bit of manga.
My first anime I ever watched was Salior Moon back when I was a wee little girl, that followed soon with Cardcaptors, Wedding Peach and Toyko Mew Mew. Then I was introduced to Manga, like She: Ulimate Weapon, Akira, Appleseed... (All very much boy things..... big boobs, big guns, lots of blood.....) and then I found Hell Girl, also known as Jigoku Shoujo.... which is about a girl who takes peoples souls for a favour, like perhaps, making someone disappear into hell.... very deep and very clever and very very dark... now the first few episodes are on youtube, and then 6-9 disappear and then they disappear at 13.... the series I don't think is allowed on youtube due to the age restrictions and copyright reasons....
Although, has anyone ever looked on CEX's website?
I have found EVERY SINGLY anime and manga series ever made on there.... its like ebay but better and cheaper... yeah the things are second hand, but there's no bidding.... Hell Girl volume 1 is £4! Bargain.....
But yes anime... if you're unsure about it, I mean... most games use alot of it, Final Fantasy is anime-like, although it is becoming more lifelike.... but its worth even youtubing a video to see if you find anything you like... theres stuff out there for everyone.
It's not even a new thing. Princess Monokoe.... old old OLD manga... like 1970s.... bloody good film...
Only thing I recommend if you do watch them though, is, as tempting as it is to just stick on the English Dub, watch it in Japanese with the subs on.... yeah ok, its harder to follow and some bits dont make sense, buts theres something about it that is so... memerising....

True Blood.....

Now I know I'm not the only one obsessed with this...
But, has anyone else read the books? Or is it just me and my best friend Dazz?
The books are NOTHING like the series...Honestly...
Give them a read?
I would......

Opinionainted

I've got Anne Rice on facebook, and she always asks interesting questions and encourages people to comment on her status.
She's recently asked about Tom Cruise, New Moon and Femininity....
The views are amazing.
The amount of people who were OFFENDED at the mention of femininity.... the women were more offended than the men, what the hell? hahahaa! Wow, talk about being ashamed about your gender, good god girls, get ur boobs out!
New Moon... now this amazes me, ok yes some people don't get the idea of 'creativity' but hello! Twilight can't be that bad, if there are people queuing up at MIDNIGHT at cinemas with 4 screens OPEN to show the film. Ok, I understand you don't like the way she's modernised the vampires, but excuse me, you complain they fall in love. What do you use to describe Lestat's obsession with Jessica? Draucla's with Mia? C'mon people.... be a bit more open minded.... u may not like it, but have a better reason than 'he's shiny in the sunlight'....

Home From The Cinema Finally....

I'd love to say that the film was AWESOME!.... but all I can tell you is that part of it was awesome....
From the beginning: I booked the wrong film, I booked Twilight, not New Moon.... well sorry for the media calling the Twilight Saga... anyway, I got a refund and bought tickets for the midnight showing of New Moon, which meant Emma and me went and killed two hours in Chiquto....which is very expensive and not worth the money if you ask me, but whatever...
We managed to get into the film, and sat happily and watched....
Right up to the point where Jacob fixes the motorbikes for Bella (I'm ruining NOTHING here its all on the internet), the picture cuts off... leaving us with only the sound of the film.... fantastic....
We whine and moan until the manager comes in and gives us free tickets, so ok, we're happy campers now...
Magically the picture returns and we settle down with our free tickets and watch...
Up to the point where Bella has saved Edward and they're doing the I Love You's bit, the picture cuts, yet AGAIN!
Management RUDELY enters telling us that we were lucky, this screen wasn't even meant to be open, and all others were sold out, so we could either sit and see if the movie came back on, or go home.... nothing free this time...
By this point Emma has been awake 38 hours, and I'm tired and pissed off.....
So I'd love to be able to tell you about the film, but sadly I can't, although at the moment I'm in the middle of writing a very angry letter to Odeon... watch this space....

DS

My mum is thinking of getting a DS and a brain train game for my grandpa for xmas... but she's kinda put off by the price.
Anyone else still want a ds that doesnt have one??? I know I was one of the only kids in school without one (back in my day.....)
Well although I have a DS now... I also have GBA- GameBoy Advance Emulator. Type it in google, and you can download a gameboy, gameboy colour, gamboy advance and now a DS, some people have a PSP.
Basically you download it for your computer and you can play all your favourite games on it, I think that's amazing, but obviously if you don't have your own computer, or are sharing with parents, siblings, etc it can be difficult.
I suggest saving up for perhaps a second hand DS that you can get in Game, GameStation, CEX, all the good gaming stores...
But I'm quite happy with my Emulator :)

Twilight

Twilight....
Tomorrow is the BIG lanuch, but by some miracle or another, Emma and I have managed to get ourselves tickets for the night before.
The series is by an author called Stephine Meyer who released her books some time before the film was made, her last book 'Breaking Dawn' was released the Christmas before the first film came out.
Robert Patterson stars as the heartbreaking Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan.
Though I'm not a fan of Stewart as Bella, she does bring the 'pathetic clumsiness' to the role that is required for Bella... perhaps I'm just bitter cause I'd love act opposite Patterson.
If you're a fan of the films but aren't going for whatever reason I suggest getting your self onto youtube and looking for KalebNation. http://www.youtube.com/user/kalebnation
The guy is so American its untrue but he's funny none the less and one of the most reliable sources out there.
Apparently there's chance to the screenplay from the story, which I'm curious to see how it goes, but what do I know? I'm not a hollywood screenwriter, etc.
So watch this space for my opinion....
